Natural rubber is divided into standard rubber and smoked sheet rubber according to different manufacturing processes. Standard rubber is standard rubber, such as Standard rubber of China, abbreviated as SCR. Similarly, there are SVR, STR, SMR, etc.
Standard rubber also has different grades, such as SVR3L, SVR 5, SVR10, SVR20, SVR 50, etc.; according to the size of the number, the larger the number, the worse the quality; the smaller the number, the better the quality (the most important factor to distinguish the quality is the ash and impurity content of the product. The less ash, the better the quality)
Smoked sheet rubber is Ribbed Smoked Sheet, which refers to the thin sheet of rubber smoked by smoke, abbreviated as RSS. This abbreviation is different from standard rubber. It is not divided according to the origin. The expression is the same in different origins.
There are also different grades of smoked rubber, RSS1, RSS2, RSS3, RSS4, RSS5. Similarly, RSS1 is also the best quality, and RSS5 is the worst quality.
It is made by adding a little synthetic rubber and a part of chemical products to natural rubber. The most commonly used compound rubber formula is as follows, such as Malaysia's compound rubber SMR Compounded Rubber 97% SMR 20 (Malaysia's standard rubber) 2.5% SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber, a synthetic rubber) 0.5% stearic acid (stearic acid).
The compound rubber is called a compound depending on what natural rubber constitutes its main component. As above, the main component is SMR 20, so it is called Malaysia No. 20 standard rubber compound; there are also smoked rubber compounds and standard rubber compounds.
